Walk-in Clinic for Same Day Urgent Orthopedic Needs
NEW ALBANY, Ohio – JIS Orthopedics has announced the opening of an Orthopedic
Priority Care center that will improve patient experience and convenience by offering
immediate access to quality orthopedic surgeons and specialists.
No appointment is necessary at the JIS Orthopedic Care Center, which is open 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 7277 Smith’s Mill Rd, Suite 120 in New Albany. The center is designed to make waiting for orthopedic care a relic of the past with patients bypassing the typical delays experienced in hospital emergency rooms and receiving prompt attention from JIS Orthopedics providers.
“Sometimes making an appointment just doesn’t get patients connected to their doctors quickly enough, especially with orthopedic injuries,” said JIS Orthopedics’ Zackary Byrd, MD, a board-certified surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgery. “Furthermore, there are no orthopedic physicians at many emergency facilities like ERs and Urgent Cares, and the wait times there can be stifling.”
“We at JIS recognize these things and to show that we’re in it for our patients we are offering a way to skip the waiting room and the time it takes to make an appointment with a referral,” Dr. Byrd said.
