Dr. Morris received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College in Easton, PA.He began his professional career working for a large investment bank in New York City.
Dr. Morris subsequently completed a Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction of the hip and knee with Drs. Lombardi and Berend at Joint Implant Surgeons. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the International Congress of Joint Replacement. He is a member of the Piedmont Orthopedic Society and the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Morris has been an author on over 70 peer-reviewed publications and numerous book chapters and has presented nationally, regionally, and locally at many academic conferences. He was nominated and recognized multiple times for the patient-initiated Mount Carmel Guardian Angel award. In addition, Columbus Monthly recognized Dr. Morris as a Castle Connally Top Doctor in 2023.
He completed orthopaedic residency training at Duke University where he received the John M. Harrelson Chief Resident Teaching award.
In addition to his impressive academic and professional achievements, Dr. Morris is deeply committed to making a positive impact beyond his medical practice. He is a dedicated volunteer surgeon for Operation Walk, an esteemed charitable organization that extends its services to provide medical education and free surgical care in developing countries. He has also participated in Operation Walk USA, a charitable organization that provides hip and knee replacement surgery to uninsured Americans. Driven by his passion for helping those in need, he exemplifies the values of compassion and humanitarianism in the field of orthopedic surgery.
Outside of his medical endeavors, Dr. Morris finds joy in the company of his loving family, residing in central Ohio with his wife and three children. When he’s not in the operating room, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, carving down the slopes or exploring new destinations through travel.
