Dr. Walla has extensive experience caring for athletes and active people alike. He served as the team physician for the AAA Worcester Red Sox minor league baseball team and provided sports medicine services to multiple universities and high schools including: Worcester State University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Holy Cross University, Capital University, and the Columbus City Schools.
At JIS, Dr. Walla will care for patients with sports-related and non-sports-related injuries and ailments.
He is an Ohio native and has completed a majority of his orthopaedic training in Columbus. He is passionate to provide exceptional care to the community that he has grown to love.

Dr. Walla’s clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, hip, knee and ankle, including ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repairs, labral repairs, hip arthroscopy, other joint preservation techniques, and shoulder replacements. He continuously strives to provide exceptional patient care so that his patients can return to the sports, activities, and hobbies that they love.
