Can I Visit My Dentist After Surgery?

As far as concerns with the dentist, there are no active concerns with patients who have had spinal surgery and had spinal implants and the risk of an infection when visiting their dentist. 

Therefore, we do not recommend any antibiotic prophylaxis for patients who have had spine surgery, in particular spine fusion.
